My Mother - The first God I ever knew by Himmat
POEM My Mother, The first God I ever knew ❤️ ❤️ I have not seen prayer, nor the soul of air. I may not know what God looks like, But I have seen my mother’s care. ❤️ When I fall each evening, Like a bowing sunflower. She becomes the sunlight herself, And stood besides me like sheltering tower. ❤️ She also carries her tiredness, Yet never speaks of it aloud. One glimpse of my happiness, Make her forget every cloud. ❤️ There is something sacred in her – Why else would we call her divine? I don’t know what others think, But she is like God to mine. ❤️ Even I don’t know myself The way my mother knows me She scolds me for my mistakes Yet later blames herself instead ❤️ The hope shining in her eyes Never let me accept defeat It gives my broken soul, A reason to compete ❤️ My own dreams can wait for another lifetime, perhaps. But in this life, I want to fulfill my mother’s dream first. Mom You are my World ❤️ By Himmat +2 Commerce Section - A Introduction and Visual Aesthetics The creative writing piece pr…
